English
Speaking
Through an introduction to common words and phrases in everyday English conversation, and regular speaking and listening practice, speaking classes build real-life communicative abilities across a variety of different situations.
Reading
Basic English grammar, vocabulary, and expressions are meaningfully taught using a variety of interesting materials to improve overall reading comprehension. In addition, pronunciation improvement is targeted through read-out-loud activities.
Eigo Kisohyogen (Expression)
In addition to introducing basic expressions useful for communication in English, this class also covers grammar and listening skills necessary for high-stakes English examinations.
Cinema
Using films as the primary source material, specific scenes are examined for useful vocabulary and expressions within the cultural context in which they are introduced. Listening and speaking activities feature heavily in this class.
Culture
Culture and customs from countries around the world (including Japan) are introduced and discussed in English to foster a deeper sense of international understanding.
Travel English
Better overall communicative abilities are fostered through role-playing a variety of common scenes in international travel so that students are more successful in those situations when they encounter them.
English through Songs
This multi-faceted class uses famous English songs to improve listening, pronunciation, and the understanding of song lyrics. The songs and the artists that perform them are studied within their unique cultural context.
Pleasure Reading
This class encourages extensive reading based on each individual student's interests and ability.
Business
This course introduces practical business English by examining English expression found in a variety of common business situations. In addition, students are also taught skills for improving their score on high-stakes English exams, such as the TOEIC.
English for Omotenashi
English communication skills are fostered through in-class practice of introducing different elements of Japanese culture and custom to foreign visitors.
Basic TOEIC
This class is an elementary level class for students interested in taking the TOEIC exam. Class A focuses on preparation for the reading exam, and Class B focuses on preparation for the listening exam.
Yarinaoshi no Hatsuon (pronunciation)
This class is for students who want to have clearer, more easily understood pronunciation. Pronunciation training contains detailed explanations of the mechanics of pronunciation and the characteristics of native pronunciation.
Global Understanding
Centered around the themes of "Global" and "Local", this class uses a variety of materials to examine problems, bias, discrimination and more in both Japan and the larger world. Students in this class learn different ways to express their opinions on these topics in English.

Speaking
日常生活の中で必要な会話表現を学び、リスニングや会話練習を繰り返し行うことで、場面に応じた適切なコミュニケーション能力を養います。
Reading
興味深い様々な読み物を教材に、基礎文法や語彙表現の指導を行い、英語読解力を養成します。また発音向上のための音読演習も行います。
英語基礎表現
コミュニケーションに役立つ英語基礎表現の習得及び、英語資格試験の準備に必要な文法力やリスニング力などを養います。
Cinema
映画を教材とし、様々なシーンで使われている語彙表現、会話表現、文化的背景を学び、リスニング演習や会話練習を行います。
Culture
日本を含め、世界各地の文化や習慣を英語で学び、異文化について理解を深めます。
Travel English
海外旅行においてうまく対応できるよう、様々なシーンを取り上げ、全体的なコミュニケーション能力の向上を目指します。
English through Songs
有名な英語の歌を教材に、リスニング、発音練習、歌詞の内容理解など、多角的な観点から授業を行います。アーティストや曲の文化的背景なども取り上げます。
Pleasure Reading
授業では各学生の興味や能力に合わせて多読指導を行います。
Business
ビジネスシーンに頻出する様々な英語表現を取り上げ、実践的なビジネス英語を指導します。さらにTOEICや資格試験に対応できる英語力の向上も目指します。
English for Omotenashi
授業内の演習を通して、日本文化や習慣を海外のゲストに紹介できる英語コミュニケーション能力の習得を目指します。
Basic TOEIC
TOEIC受験を目指す初級者向け講座です。Aではリーディング対策、Bではリスニング対策の指導を行います。
やり直しの発音
より分かりやすい発音を習得したい学生のための発音矯正講座です。発音の基礎知識や、ネイティブの発音の特徴を取り上げ、発音の指導を行います。
Global Understanding
グローバル／ローカルをテーマにした様々な教材を通して、世界そして日本社会における問題、偏見、差別などについて学び、英語で意見を述べられるよう指導します。
