Mrs. Mary Perdue, the First Lady of the state of Georgia, visited Seigakuin Schools with Mrs. Midori Hisaeda, the wife of the former Consul General of Atlanta, on Oct. 18, 2005.

She first talked with Prof. Hideo Ohki, the Chairperson of Seigakuin Schools, and Prof. Emeritus W. G. Kroehler, the Director of the Seigakuin International Center. Afterward she visited Seigakuin Kindergarten, Seigakuin Junior & Senior High School, and Joshi Seigakuin Junior & Senior High School. It was a relatively short visit, but it apparently deepened the understanding of education at Seigakuin Schools.
