The campus fronts on the Kamo River. The buildings
include the library with a collection of about 240,000
volumes, several computer laboratories that students
can use to access and exhange data, a multi-media
studio capable of reading and creating different
media such as CD's, videos, etc., the gymnasium,
student cafeterias and other facilities. Much effort
has been put into making the campus barrier free,
namely, accessible to students with physical challenges.
In
October of 2004 construction on a new chapel was
finished. This is the place for student worship
services and the activities of a local church, and
has become the symbol of Seigakuin University. In
the process of planning and constructing the chapel,
a long-range plan for the campus was also developed.
