Entrance
requirements
International students must hold non-Japanese citizenship
and, as a general rule, reside in Japan. In addition, international
students must individually meet the following conditions. [Please
note that graduates of Japanese high schools must apply as regular
Japanese students.]
- As per the School Education Ordinances’
Regulation No. 69, the student has completed twelve years of schooling
outside of Japan or has been officially approved by the Minister
of the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science
& Technology.
- Has participated in the Examination for Japanese
University Admission for International Students (EJU) or has taken
the 1st Level Japanese Language Proficiency Test. (One-day AO
Examination applicant has taken the 3rd Level Japanese Language
Proficiency Test.)
