Declaration of The 3rd Assembly of The 2nd Seigakuin Conference on Education

The faculty and staff of Seigakuin Schools have mutually resolved to put our educational policy into action on the basis of the careful consideration of individual personalities, a high regard for human rights and the importance of the sanctity of life, and the building up of ourselves as members of a covenantal community as determined in the former Seigakuin Conference on Education. As human relations in modern society have been in turmoil and insidious crimes have occurred in recent times, we hereby solemnly bind ourselves to this declaration at The 3rd Assembly of The 2nd Seigakuin Conference on Education

All faculty and staff should be cognizant of the fact that we are members of a covenantal community and should strive to produce exemplary educational results by enabling all Seigakuin students to achieve high levels of self-development by means of the flexible application of our educational system, avoiding the natural tendency to drift towards rigidity.

In order to achieve this goal, not only the faculty and staff of Seigakuin but also the parents and alumni must function as a unified educational community and strive to form a personal association with all students. We may then expect students to learn and develop positive lifestyles and effective methods of communication. We hereby declare that we will devote ourselves to this cause as the true standard-bearers of a global civil society, being unified in prayer and cooperating closely with all Seigakuin members in fulfilling our sacred mission.
